Cut Quality
Diamonds of premium cut are almost as good as ideal. While nature determines the color and clarity of a stone, diamond cut is dependent solely upon the skill of the cutter. Premium cut diamonds may be close to the ideal cut proportions and look just identical. Most people cannot distinguish between the two. However, there is a slight difference in quality and reduction in price over ideal cut diamonds.

Color
G color diamonds are next to colorless. G color may be somewhat slightly noticeable when compared to diamonds of better grades, but this grade offers excellent value. G-color diamonds are the most rare of the near-colorless diamonds. Its extremely faint tint will only be noticeable to a trained gemologist.

Clarity
Diamonds of VVS1 clarity are very slightly included grade one. VVS1 diamonds with minute inclusions absolutely invisible to the naked eye. Only through careful inspection with a microscope can these tiny inclusions be accurately pinpointed. The brilliance of the stone does not suffer in this category.
