The advertising for feminine hygiene is a necessary evil that reveals a vulnerability in all consumers, women and men, but advertising for the diamond industry maliciously creates fools of us all. Because our culture today uses jewelry mostly for decorative purposes we often forget the roots of jewelry and how, to some cultures, it can have a deeper spiritual meaning. Recognizing the importance of this religious jewelry in other cultures allows us to see the greater symbolic uses that jewelry can be used for.

Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality The ideal cut diamond is a very precise mathematical equation, where diamond proportions and angles are cut to optimize the diamond's superlative optical properties, in particular it's high refractive index and color dispersion, to create a diamond of unequaled beauty with perfect balance of brilliance and fire. In layman's terms, the diamond is cut to make it the most beautiful diamond so it retains its intrinsic value.
Color In the near colorless category H color grade is the second best. Most H color diamonds have a very light yellow or gray tint that may be more noticeable when the diamond is placed on a white surface. Diamonds with H color grade appear white and are great values because they are more plentiful and as a result less expensive.
Clarity Diamonds of VVS2 clarity are very, very slightly included grade two. In diamonds of VVS2 clarity the inclusions are still considered minute but perhaps a few more pinpoints than are in VVS1 grade stones. Any VVS clarity be it a VVS1 or VVS2 are immaculate under the microscope. VVS2 clarity diamonds appear unblemished to the naked eye.
