By all means such diamonds are considered well cut. In fact, many consumers cannot distinguish between the ideal cut diamond and the premium cut. Appearance of diamond is very subjective and cannot be fully evaluated just by their proportions along.

Color
To most people G color diamonds will look absolutely colorless unless the diamonds of better color grade are used as a reference. Diamonds of G color grade offer an excellent trade off between diamond quality and affordability. GIA certified G color diamonds look exceptionally beautiful in platinum settings and make an excellent investment.

Clarity
VS2 Clarity diamonds are very slightly included grade two. VS2 diamonds have minor inclusions that are visible at 10x magnification. They are less expensive than the VS1 clarity grade because they exhibit slightly more inclusions. VS2 clarity diamonds make excellent choices for jewelry because the naked eye will not be able to detect any inclusions.
