While zircon, for example looks very much like diamond because of its pronounced brilliance and relative hardness, it chips easily. Many people never take their jewelry off, for sentimental reasons. But the fact is that there are many routine activities that may damage, or even destroy, your precious jewelry.
Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality Cut quality is calculated based on simplified formulas that take into account diamond proportions, depth and table. If some of this information is not available we are unable to estimate the quality of the diamond's cut.
Color E color diamonds are virtually colorless. E color grade is very rare. The naked eye will not detect any presence of color. E color grade is indistinguishable from D without instrumentation.
Clarity Diamonds of SI3 clarity are on a borderline between slightly included and included diamonds. SI3 grade inclusions are almost obvious under 10x magnification. Inclusions in such diamonds may be noticeable to the unaided eye. However, when observing the diamond "face up" as it is mounted in a ring, the inclusions are usually not visible.
