Cut Quality
Diamonds of premium cut proportions are almost as good as ideal. Most people will not be able to distinguish an idea cut from premium. Less diamond material is lost in the process of cutting thus making the diamonds less expansive then ideally cut ones. In short premium cut reflects almost as much light as the ideal-cut, but for a lower price.

Color
J color diamonds are more or less colorless. J color will be slightly detectable to the experienced eye. When cut to ideal proportions, the diamond will produce a warm intensity. This diamond is an excellent value for the budget conscious. J-color diamonds are the least expensive of the near-colorless grades.

Clarity
Inclusions and external blemishes in diamonds of SI1 clarity may be easy to spot under 10X power magnification. Location of the inclusions greatly affect their visibility to the naked eye. SI1 diamonds of good color produce as good of a sparkle as the more expansive VS graded stones of lower color. Excellent bargains may be fond in this category.
