Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality The ideal cut diamond is designed to reflect a maximum amount of light through the crown. When a diamond is ideally cut, light rays from all sides are bent towards the center of the stone and are reflected back through the top in a blaze of light. Such diamonds are perceived as most brilliant and fiery, thus making this the most desirable cut.
Color Diamonds of G color are nearly colorless. G color diamonds may have a slight yellowish tint when viewed against white flat background. When set in platinum or white gold jewelry the presence of color will not be noticeable which makes diamonds in this color grade very popular.
Clarity Diamonds of VS2 clarity have very small inclusions grade two. Inclusions VS2 diamonds are somewhat easy for a skilled grader to locate under 10x magnification. Diamonds that are graded VS in clarity are still very impressive looking diamonds under a microscope. Of course nothing is visible at all to the human eye. Such diamonds have a great balance between good clarity and exceptional price.
