This aptly named cathedral setting is one of the most popular engagement ring settings. The tapered cathedral setting has rounded tips that extend smoothly on both sides of the diamond. To the left and right of the diamond, the band of the cathedral ring setting splits into two and then meets at the bottom to join together.
